I Am @ Youth

What does this mean to me?
Um...

I = me, myself and who am I
Am = being
@ = at Youth = teenager, young, carefree lifestyle
SG = Singapore

So it would be like myself being a youth in Singapore...
I would say it would be a special feeling as youth in Singapore isn't easy.
You'll get studies
You'll get stress
You'll get many things that aren't too good for you.

But in the mean time,
I do sometimes enjoy being a youth in Singapore as I get to enjoy the afternoon with my friends, chat and hangout with my close friends in the streets.
It is true that there is nothing much I can do now...
But since I am only an average 14 years old student.

Studying at a neighbourhood school.
A good school that suits a YOUTH really matters in Singapore.
It affects on the pupil...
How would he treat the school as...
For me, the school I am currently studying doesn't suit my characteristic at all...
But I'm forced to study in this school.

It's just that the school rules are bit of ridiculous sometimes.
It's just that how the school does things are bit of ridiculous sometimes.

Secondary Students like us, have to raise up your right hand to keep quiet when the principal is talking.

Right... THIS DO NOT MAKE SENSE
why are we treated in this way?

I see no point in doing this so…
Banning sweet drinks from the canteen was bad enough.
Its reason, to prevent students from littering around the school premises.
Well...Students still 'smuggle' or bring drinks out.

So they set up another new rule that we all have to comply,
Removing all bottle caps of sweet drinks when you buy them.
Hell! That's like no sweet drinks for us for the whole day.
We can't keep it with us.

WHAT DO YOU GET AT THE END OF THE DAY?
LOOKING AT YOUR STUDENTS SCOLDING VULGARITIES BEHIND YOUR BACK?

Oh well…Life still carries on….
Spoken with the store vendor….
Students still goes out to the nearby minimart at a stone's throw to purchase sweet drinks,
and throw it all over the place!

It defeats the purpose of the new RULE...

The air-conditioner at the school hall is really collecting dust and it is becoming like a giant oven.
It would just cook everything that is inside.
When you switched on the air-conditioner with 1500 students inside,
It's like a gym.
Feeling so warm yet little bit cool.
At the end of the day, I still get frustrated and I sweat a lot.

The school meeting for teachers really disappoints me a lot.
Wasted 30 minutes for my history lesson.
Which I would pay the most attention for it since it is interesting for me.
I hate school...Really makes my life so bad.

Youth @ SG really got to involve me.
My CCA is Singapore Red Cross Youth.
And this totally links everything up.
I'm a Youth in Singapore, participating in Red Cross Activities.

It was fun. Serving the community and many other events...
When we won competitions and events, we would always think it is a group effort, and we have all placed in that single effort.

Our school unit for Red Cross Youth is really good...
We have abundant stock of trophies that we won over the pass few years.

And our cadets were proud to wear the uniform they are wearing.... With each badge representing their effort and hardwork has paid off. After typing so much.

Maybe it is not too bad to be a YOUTH @ SG.
